Rental $ x-mas time???

Booked for next x-mas 2013 and a surprise trip for the kids. What $ would I be looking at for a rental from Dec 22-27 compared to other times. Do they jack up the $ at x-mas because they know we all will pay it?? Just trying to budget everything ahead of time.

We are getting off of DCL the 22 and I booked a car from Cape Canaveral from 22-28. Thrifty was $235 and change for the week after one way fee and taxes. Enterprise wanted more than $2000 for the same type of car for the same dates!!! I already reserved!
