We are planning an October vacation while kids are on fall break. We are going to hit Universal, Seaworld and Disney's MK. I could really use suggestions on good places to stay. I have looked over and gotten quotes for WH condos for $600 for the week. Id like to stick within that price range. We have stayed in a rental home in Indian Creek and at Marriott Horizons(loved it here) and it was great but too $$ for this trip. We are heading out to Disney this Saturday for a week so we need to keep this next trip more budget :) We also plan on sticking around our "resort" a few days just to chill so thats a factor, too.

Thanks for any and all help/suggestions!

well it is not the greatest for sw or us - but it will do.

it is really best for WDW.

go the backroads to WDW and take I4 there.

Yeah, I know WH is closest to WDW. I guess what I was asking was where else is there within the budget that might be in between?

There's Cypress Point near Crossroads, don't know if they'd be as inexpensive. Check HotelKingdom.com And there's a new place closer to Universal -- is that Vista Cay? I think they might be pricier than WH. Good luck with your search.

Just looked quickly -- there's a site called www.vistacayrent.com that looks similar to the one for Windsor Hills. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to find an inexpensive condo there.

I would also suggest Cypress Pointe, great location. You can get a 2 bedroom for about $550/week in the October timeframe.

Where can someone get that price? Any time I've checked recently a 2 bedroom is definitely over $100/night + tax - probably $120 or so.

For the OP, I do think Vista Cay will be more expensive than Windsor HIlls, but it's a great location for Universal & SW! We stayed there on our Universal & Sea World trip and the only Disney park we did that time was Typhoon Lagoon.

I don't think I'd recommend Windsor Hills if the primary destinations for the trip were Universal and Sea World because that commute via I-4 can be nasty!
