rental homes near disney

We are considering renting a home for our next trip and was wondering if anyone had experience with this? Can you recommend a company that you liked? We've never stayed offsite before but think it might be worth the extra space. Please share thoughts.

If you look on the Orlando hotels and attractions forum, you'll see that everyone raves about Windsor Hills. We've stayed there and I can see what all the hype is about.

We used Florida Sun Vacation homes and I highly reccommend them. We stayed in a condo, but hey have houses as well.

We used All-Star Vacation Homes. I would not hesitate to book with them again. We had a 7 bedroom/6 bath house with it's own pool, spa, and game room. LOVED IT!!!! We were less than 5 miles from Disney in a gated community. The house was in the Formosa Gardens estate.

We also used Florida Sun Vacations. They had a good choice of properties at very reasonable prices, plus pool heating was included (we went in Jan) which made a big difference to the final cost.

We wanted to stay offsite for the extra space, we have done the sitting in the dark with the lights off in the vain hope the kids go to sleep and don't find it very relaxing. It was lovely being able to get back to the house and the kids having plenty of space to play. We weren't planning on eating in Disney restaurants anyway, so it was nice to be able to go back to the house and get a simple meal ready rather than deal with our tired kids in a restaurant.
