Had a great experience with Emerald Aisle in 2000. Next trip is set for Nov. Seeing high rates, and not finding any discount codes for National.

The best rates for a full size seem to be at Dollar using the ENTERTAIN code. Has anyone had a smooth experience with either Dollar, Budget, or the other companies onsite at MCO? Thanks!

I have had great results with Budget and Avis and also Natioinal.
I managed to get Avis twice with Priceline.com at a very reasonable rate.

I had a really good experience with Dollar last November. Just one tip--if you do Dollar, join their Fastlane program. My only complaint was standing in line while the Fastlane people got to go ahead! This year, I will be the one standing in Fastlane!

I rented a compact and ended up with a nice minivan as they were out of compacts. A waste on 2 people, but I'm not complaining!

The counter service was wonderful, I had a very efficient and very pleasant woman wait on me. She had me in and out relatively quickly, which I appreciated since it was almost midnight. I was shocked at how busy they still are at that time!

The service for checking back in was quick and efficient. Took maybe all of 5 minutes. I had allowed extra time, so I ended up sitting around the terminal.

Can't say enough nice things about Dollar...:D

We always seem to get a far better rate at dollar than anywhere else. I love the fact that they are in the terminal and their return procedures could not be better!! It is a breeze to return the car to them.

Overall pick up has been excellent too, except one minor complaint this last trip. the woman who eventually waited on me was trying to upsell every singe customer that she waited on! I had reserved a compact and I swear she tried to convince me into a convertible, a PT cruiser a such and such THREE times. I even went so far as to say I'm traveling with a 5 year old here, just give me the compact! She was also VERY pushy about the extra insurance. She only laid off of that when I explained that I am a lisenced insurance agent and know what my policy covers!

I noticed that the other counter agents served at least two people for every one of hers, so they were not all so pushy--maybe she was new.

PS--yep, sign up for Fastlane!

We had no problems whatsoever with Dollar and National BUT we would never go with Alamo again.
