Rental cars: any 8 passenger vans?

Well, the title says it all! Are there any guaranteed 8-passenger vans anywhere? If not, my choices are to rent two vehicles or get a 15-passenger van!

I am in the same boat, we are looking for something that seats 8 passengers. I have found that Alamo has an 8 seater mini van, Dollar has an 8 seater standard van as does Thrifty. Budget also has an 8 seater SUV.

I saw that these were available from Budget. They also have 8-passenger regular vans (not mini vans) in their fleet, but they are not coming up as available for our reservation. I really don't want to have to get a big van because of cost. But I guess if it comes down to it, we'll be the family cruising around Disney in a huge, white shuttle bus!

I've tried over and over to get the 8 passenger to come up on Dollar, but even though it lets me select it from the list, once the search page loads, it changes over to a 7-passenger minivan. I've even changed the dates all over the place and I can't get it to come up! Any suggestions?

We are looking for 4/24 to 5/3. I did manage to get the 8-passenger van to come up, but ONLY when I used the oi1054 code (Orlando Magicard); that's the only way it would show up. All other codes would make that vehicle disappear!

I was thinking that might be the problem, as I checked my own dates with Thrifty and I could only get the vehicle as an option if I used the code 004m001010 , also from the Orlando Magic card, which is the code that I had been checking with. Strange!

I was just checking with Alamo and if I use the code Sunpromo, the 8 seater minivan comes up. If I use a Costo code, no 8 seater as an option.

I have not come across any coupons that can be used, I will keep you posted if I find anything.
