Rental car - trying to convice DH

I'm trying to convice DH that we should get a rental car for our stay in Nov. We'll be traveling with our DD who will be 21 months old at the time and I think that having a car and being able to come and go as we please will be so much easier than always relying on the buses. We took to WDW DD last Fall when she was 8 months old and there were a few times when we had to wait over 45 mins. just for the bus to show up at our resort. We had timed her meals around how long it would take to get to a park (usually 30-40 mins max) so by the time the buses arrived at our resort, she was hungry and not happy.

We had a rental car in May when it was just DH and I. The ability to hop in the car and drive to our destination in 10 mins was sooooo nice! Rental car rates are currently at $200 with my corporate discount. I think it's worth it, but DH doesn't think so. What would you do?

I would go ahead and make the reservation, and then keep checking for lower rates. After all, I believe you can cancel car rental reservations up until the day before.

Then, if it were me, I'd continue to lobby for the car Lucky for me, this is one issue I've never had to fight DH on (actually, there have been a couple of trips I had to convince him not to get the car - it was just him and me for 3 nights). But, I've been known to be relentless on certain issues, lol.

If DH was still opposed to the idea the day before we went, I'd go ahead and cancel the reservation. Then say I told you so when our plans were derailed from not having the car
