rental car sizing - overpacked?

I have a reservation for an enterprise minivan, but I am thinking of reconsidering to something bigger. I will have 3 adults, 2 kids (one in a car seat, one in booster). We're bringing our sit and stand stroller and will most likely have 3 or 4 checked bags as well as carryons. And will have a drive from tampa to Bonnet creek. We don't have a minivan at home, so I am concerned with that sit and stand we'll have some issues getting from and to the airport. Think we'll be ok with the size or should I look at something like a tahoe or suburban?

You should be OK. You will be able to stow one of the third rows seats to make more room. How many can sit in the second row (assuming you know the exact type of van)? You could then put down both third row seats.

Do a little research on the types of vans the rental car company uses. But if price is not object, get the Suburban.

Thanks. It says dodge grand caravan or similar. No idea of the seating configuration.

There will be much more room in the van than a Tahoe as in the Tahoe you'd need to keep the third row up.

we drove with 3 adults, 3 kids from Milwaukee to Orlando in a Dodge Caravan with all our stuff for a week. You should be fine. The tahoes have much less storage room behind the 3rd row than a mini van does. Plus the dodge van's have "stow n go" under the middle row of seats where you can stash more stuff.

I think you'll be OK with the minivan, but it will be a crush. BTDT with 3 adults & 3 kids in a minivan. Another alternative, rent a stroller. Seems like a crazy thing to do, but I highly recommend it. There are many companies that rent and will deliver and pick up at Bonnet Creek.

if your BC unit has a washer & dryer, i'd leave a suitcase or two at home & pack some laundry supplies.
