Rental car selection

We are renting a car for our trip in May. We would like to be able to select our own rental car instead of having the agency select one for us. Which companies allow you to do this? I have used Alamo in the past and they let you do this.

i would like to know this too. i've used dollar before and they just gave me the keys to a car. when i asked what color it was the guy gave me a funny look and said green. i asked if they had any other colors he said blue. i took that one but it was a nasty blue/green and the dark green one next to it was way nicer. of course.

As far as I know only Alamo and National allow this. Everyone else gives you keys.... (I know Hertz, Dollar and Avis give you keys. I have not rented from Budget in years, but you didn't pick then)
