Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions about which rental car company to use. Looking for a full size car being that there will be 5 of us 2 adults and three small children . Any discount advice would be appreciated(coupons, codes etc... . Thanks in advance.

Check out www.mousesavers.com for latest deals/coupons. I usually rent with Alamo or National because I got the Disney Club/Disney Visa discount. I've also had some great deals from Dollar.

I just reserved a full size car with National for Christmas week best deal I found and if you have a Entertainment book there is even an additional discount on top of the internet discount. I believe we will pay around $190 from Dec. 26 through Jan 2nd.

I also checked into the Budget SUV deal and this special ends on Dec. 13th which wouldn't work for us.

Good luck with finding a car.

Thanks,
This will come in handy in the future when I do my searching for car rentals.

Rental rates were lower about a month ago - hopefully they'll adjust back down. Be sure to watch www.mousesavers.com for discount codes.

I was able to get my one week rental, Standard size (Dodge Stratus or similar), from Thrifty for $80.89 + taxes. I checked rates daily using sidestep (a program you can download at www.sidestep.com ) and used a 10% off link provided at www.rentalcars.com (The same car is currently renting for $142.)

Just watch for a low rate and then book quickly!

TTFN!

Try checking on the website www.travelocity.com. It will search and tell you the best deal and then you can go to that particular car rental place to book, that way you do not have to pay the travelocity charge. Also, this website will tell you which car rental places are on site at the airport and which ones will require you to catch a shuttle to their site off property. I find that traveling with small kids, one less shuttle is better so I only book with on site car rental companies. Also, don't hestitate to book the first good deal you come across. If you find a better deal later, just cancel the other. There are no penalties with the car rental places if you cancel. So even if you have a car booked, keep checking rates, you never know when you will come across a better deal. Good Luck. ::MinnieMo
