Rental car from Hilton or Car Care Center?

I should arrive to CSR next Saturday by 4 pm and want to arrange to rent a car for the evening to return it the next afternoon. Which is easier -- taking the bus from CSR to downtown Disney and going over to the Hilton for Avis OR arranging for a shuttle to the car care center to rent from Alamo????

I think it is so easy when we rent from the CCC and have Alamo pick us up at the resort and take us to our car, then return us to our resort when we return the car. Then you don't have to wait for a bus and walk!

Soooo jealous - I was just saying to my DD I wish I could take a solo trip this year - she said just go! I said it costs money so I have to wait! You have to call them for a reservation time to be picked up to get to CCC. Allow at least 1 to 1 1/2 hr from the time you call. You can call up to 24 hours in advance to schedule a pick-up time that fits into your schedule.
We have rented from National at CCC and love that if you use your Emerald Aisle membership, the car and paperwork are ready for you and you don't have to go to the counter. The keys and paperwork are waiting for you at the office. TMI, since you are renting from Alamo. Have fun.

If you rent from Alamo, you can use the kiosk at the CCC center and it is very fast! I walked right up, checked in, then went to the window and someone handed me my car key and that was it! You pre-register your insurance and other info ahead of time on-line. Overall it was a good experience using Alamo at the CCC and I would recommend it!
