Rental car depot in WDW?

We need to rent a car to get to Kennedy Space Center one day.
At the Transportation center, do they have rentals cars?
Or at the Swan/Dolphin?
That is what is says on the Alamo website.

If so, will they bring the car to the ASMovies for us?
Or do we take the Disney transportation to one of those places to pick up the car?
Then do we have to return it to the same spot, and take the Disney transportation back to ASMo, or can we just leave it at our hotel and they will come and get it? (I thought I read that somewhere, that they will bring it to you, and return it for you?)

We need it by 7:30 am Sunday morning, and will be done with it by 8:00pm that night. I am thinking the depots are not open at those times correct?
So will we have to get it saturday at closing time and return it monday morning?

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Hi,
The Car Care Center will pick you up. They do not deliver cars. The hours for this location are on the Alamo web site.
The rates would probably be cheaper if you booked it for a weekend (you need a Sat. night keep). There are coupons on the web site.
The Dolphin does not have customer pick up.

Yes, they will pick you up and drop you off and yes, it is during their business hours.

Yes this is true

We are renting from Dollar it's right across the street from DTD marketplace bus stop in the Gosveners hotel and most of the other rental places are along that strech of Hotel plaza blvd.

Hi again,
I just reread your post and realized you are asking if you can rent a car at the trans. center. The answer to that is they don't have cars there. They have them at the Dolphin or the Car Care Center which is outside of the MK and those resorts. It won't matter much if you are picked up, but, pay attention to where you are for the return.

No, the CCC is not at the T&TC. It is over by the Richard Petty Driving experience. Also there is a gas station, AAA and Alamo/National car rental.

sat & sun 6AM-6PM
M-F 6AM-8PM

Dolphin
every day 8AM-4PM

you might want to price out picking up sat night (our 5 day rental would be about $250 more with a sunday, rather than saturday, pick-up ). also, note that neither location is open at 8PM sunday (the time you wanted to rtn).

Dolphin, while not the most convenient hours, is very easy to get to.
(disclaimer : do ONLY when park is open) ~ take a bus to EPCOT, walk toward World Showcase, bear to right, exit out walkway directly before bridge. take walkway (or Friendship) to Swan/Dolphin.
another option would be to take a bus to the TTC, another bus to swan/dolphin.

OR you could arrange pick-up and/or drop-off at your resort through national/alamo CCC.

No not near DTD but up by MK,TTC,Race TRACK.

Here's a live local link the CCC is in the lower right ,The race trackin up from it and the TTC is the big parking lot on top of that.

we were going to rent using a corportate discount thru enterprise at the care care center, but the non discount price thru dollar might be even cheaper.

yes, you could do that. There are sidewalks, not an issue for walking. It should take about 10-15 mins tops.

As the other said yes .Gosveners is the first one across the street from the bus stops .So a walk to the corner across the street and right up the drive way.

We checked it out on our June trip because we think this is going to be the better way to go. Use ME get a rental for when we need and save a day or so .Plus the gas station is right there so you can fill up and not pay the expense of the Prefill.

THanks so much for all your help.
But...
I am still having much confusion!!

We want the car from 3pm saturday until 8pm sunday.

We are staying at the All Star Movies.

We are going to Epcot monday morning, so could drop off the car then. Or get Alamo to pick it up from our resort. But we want to be at Epcot by 9am.

Which place would be easiest, the Car Care Center or the Dolphin?
