Let me try this way,

Got a great Priceline deal for a car rental tonight. Minivan from 11/27-12/5 for $22 day for a total of $241.40. So since last weekend when USA3000 cancelled our return, I booked with AirTran and saved $46, our original premium car rental was for $305, so the total savings over $100! Where can I spend the savings, gee 2 weeks from today!!

Wow, that's a great price. I have a reservation with Thrifty for a mid-size and have been trying Priceline to see if I could beat the price I got through Thrifty but, so far, no luck. We'll be there at almost the same time 11/25 - 12/9 so I'll try again. Maybe I'll have better luck this time.

I'm curious what rental agency this is with? I will be there the EXACT dates you will be there. So far I've got a minivan with Dollar for a total of $288.00 including tax.

I would also be interested in which rental agency. We will be there Dec 7 - 11 and am also getting the same rate, but am not sure if I should book since I do not know the rental agency.

I'm sorry, I had that on the post that I couldn't get posted!!

It is National, I looked on their website and the same time and minivan is over $500! I wished now I had put in $20 with Priceline!

11/25 is still the Thanksgiving weekend so I'm not sure if you will get anything lower. I thought we had hope because we were requesting it the day when most were returning.

I am normally not that lucky, but since I didn't receive a Disney post card with reduced hotel rates for our week, that I have been receiving for atleast the last 4-5 years, I was glad for the additional savings!

You did get lucky! Our travel dates are 11/29-12/5 and I tried $19 for a minivan, $18 for a full size, and $20 for an suv and got DENIED on all fronts.

With Priceline, were you able to request a specific pick-up location--other than an airport location?

I would like to try priceline, but I need to pick-up the car at WDW--not the airport.

Goofy I didn't take notice to elsewhere I just put in MCO.

They give you the option of picking up at MCO or at Downtown Disney however, when you click on Downtown Disney to see the area that it encompasses there is a glitch and the map takes you to Ft. Lauderdale. I would imagine that if you called Priceline they would help you out.
