Rental Car at DL Resorts?

We will be renting a car in San Diego and driving up to spend time at one of the DL Resorts (undecided yet which of the three to pick). Does anyone know if I would be able to drop off a rental car at any of the DL properties and if so, which rental company? Obviously I would rather do that then have to drop off at an airport then take a shuttle to the resort area.

There is an Alamo in DTD.

I agree with Kathy--there is an Alamo in Downtown Disney. The office is opposite the Adventure Tower of the Disneyland Hotel and the parking lot is right there, too. It is an easy walk from Alamo to any of the three Disney properties--although the Disneyland Hotel is the closest.

Our plan is to take the Pacific Surfliner Amtrak train from San Diego to Anaheim and catch a cab to VGC. I'll let you know how it works out in just a couple weeks.

I returned a Hertz rental to a location at the Hilton Anaheim (or was it the Marriott?) -- it was pretty easy, they have a key drop at a desk that's only manned for a few hours a day, and you just drive into their parking garage and leave the vehicle in the designated spots on the 3rd or 4th floor.

The drop off was just south of DLR, and it probably took me a leisurely 15 minutes to walk to GCH after dropping it off.
