Rental car -additional driver

Rentals through this site use Alamo and an additional driver is included at no cost.
There is also a coupon for a free upgrade OR $15 off a weekly rental.
I used this site to book my rental at MCO because I didn't have to pay for the additional driver.

there is also an addiitional driver included if you: join Quicksilver, use Sam's Club or BJ's.

Does anyone know when using the bj's card thru dollar if the additional driver has to be of the same household? My FIL will be our other driver. Thanks

I don't know, this was about Alamo.

I usually use National or Avis. If rates are close I use Avis because they do not charge for an additional driver if that person is a spouse. National has charged me up to $25 for an additional driver. Not sure of their current policy. Avis can be checked at http://www.avis.com

If you are an Emerald Club member, any relative that shares your residence does not incur an extra charge to drive the car. This is outlined on the National site.
