Rent beach umbrellas at Clearwater Beach?

Hello!

It seems like Clearwater Beach is a big favorite here for a day trip from WDW. I recently has a basal cell carcinoma removed (mild form of skin cancer) and need to be very careful about sun exposure. The doctor advised that if we go to the beach, that I use a large beach umbrella/sheltering shade of some kind. We're flying down to FL and don't want ot travel with something that big, so I was wondering if that's the kind of thing you can rent at a beach destination or should I just buy one at a Wal-Mart, etc.? I'd just want to make sure it actually had some UV protection!

Karla, There are lots of beach cabanas for rent on Clearwater beach that will provide good shelter from the sun. Try to get there by mid morning. The causeway and parking lots can get very busy. Should take less than 2 hours to get to the beach from WDW.
