Renovations at GF?

I thought I saw that the GF rooms will be renovated but haven't seen anyone mention this lately. Does anyone know when the renovations (if they're happening) will be completed? We stayed there last November/December and are thinking about staying at the CR this October/November, but I was also thinking we might wait until the GF rooms have been renovated.

I don't think anyone has seen an official posting of the order the buildings will be done, but it should be either just started or starting very soon and completed by mid-December.

We have received a letter from our (UK) travel agent. They say the GF will be undertaking a rehab up to December 21st. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I think my husband has his heart set on going in late October/early November, and I've seen lots of good comments about the CR on these boards and in the Unofficial Guide, so I guess we'll be going soon! I'll be curious to see how extensive the renovations are. After the renovations, we'll definitely want to stay at the GF next time (can't give up the monorail, so we only have a few choices!).
