We got married 15 years ago, and had a traditional white wedding at home, would have loved to be married abroad - but couldn't afford what we wanted.
We had a belated honeymoon at WDW 6 months after we got married but stayed off site.
Now we have 2 children and would love to renew our vowsat WDW in a small intimate ceremony. We don't want the full wedding package, just photos, flowers and ceremony....... Does anyone know if this is possible?

Disney offers an intimate vow renewal package (essentially it's the same as the intimate wedding, just without the license). Check the DISNEY WEDDING WEBSITE for more details...

But the basics: flowers, photography, violinist, cake and champagne "reception", and 4 hour limosine service are all included in the intimate wedding/vow renewal package. You would coordinate getting an officiant (Disney gives a list).

You can also check the info in a thread above about Swan/Dolphin options as well as ORLANDO WEDDINGS for other off-site options.

Good luck!! And if you have any other questions, let us know!

It's all included?

We are considering doing the same thing. I registered with the website, and did the wishbook.

Intimates look to be more expensive for a location rental, and cake and champagne are included for four guests, according to the wish book. Am I missing the part that the basics are included in the cost? Am I looking in the wrong spot? With the wish book, it lists them all seperately. Or do I actually have to talk to a Wedding person to get those details? I have a wish book for the custom and intimate, and the custom has the minimum, but the intimate doesn't. Perhaps I need to look at it again.

I am so confused.

Ours isn't for a couple of years, but I am researching now so I can get an idea if it is something we are going to do, or just make it our "honeymoon".

My husband and I are having an intimate vow renewal--for our 15th anniversary!

Yes, the site, flowers (bouquet and boutinere), violinist (organist at the Wedding Pavillion), limo, and champagne and cake reception are included in the price Disney quotes for their intimate package. You must arrange for and pay your own officiant, but it's easy since Disney gives you a list of possible people to choose from.

I'm not doing many add ons--just flowers for my daughter who has her heart set on being the flower girl.

After the reception, we're having dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe which is not included in the package.

Happy planning!

As JLoane said intimates include pretty much everything (location, flowers, violinist, photography, cake & champagne reception, and 4 hour limo service) the only thing you have to arrange (and pay separately for) is the officiant and that cost is about $125 for an intimate. Of course, you do have to have your minimum 4 night stay already booked.

The Wishbook is kinda-sorta really set up for custom brides. With a custom you have to meet a minimum and each individual item is priced out to help you meet that minimum. With an intimate, the "basics" are included. Some of the items shown in the wishbook would be an "extra"/additional cost for an intimate wedding.

Yes, the details for the intimate say "cake and champagne reception for 4", however, the cake would easily feed at least 20 (if not more). One bottle of champagne really only serves 4-6 so thats why they say "for 4".

Try looking at THIS PAGE it will tell you what is included in the intimate. Let us know if you have any other questions...and good luck!!

Thank you so much for the information.

I have been scouring the site, and getting all the info that I can. This board has also helped tremendously.

The options really are limitless, it's just trying to figure out what we would like, what we think the right amount of people is going to be, etc.

Dh just informed me that we don't even know if everyone will be able to make it, and we may just have an intimate insead of custom. (Although, I think I put together a pretty cool custom package through the wish list.)

Thank you all so much!

My sister and bro-in-law are having their renewals on their 10th anniversary next fall. (Weekend after my honeymoon at BVC!) If you just rent the location you can use local vendors (for flowers, photographer, etc.) to make it even cheaper. I dunno', it's just a thought.
