Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before but I coulnd't find the info. Once your annual pass has expired, do you have to renew straight away, or is there a grace period? Mine expired a while ago, and I was wondering if I would have to sign up again, or can I just take my old one in and renew?

Thanks :goodvibes

Sorry I just realised I didn't explain why I want to renew rather than just buy a new AP - I've heard you get longer on your new AP if you've renewed.

Thanks,

I'm pretty certain someone did renew after their pass had expired and still received the extra months although I don't think it was recently, probably a couple of years ago. If they do allow a period of grace I've no idea what it would be, I'd guess at no more than a couple of weeks? :confused3

I hope there is a period of grace. I'm going on Monday & DD1's AP expired on 18th April. I did intend sending it off to be renewed by post, but then booked flights the week before it was due to expire, so knew that it wouldn't be back in time.

I'll let you know how I get on - I'm back May 6th.

As promised, an update on renewing an AP which has already expired.

My AP is still valid until Sept, DD2's AP expired today, but DD1's AP expired on 18th April. We queued at guest relations & bought a fantasy AP for her, so got the temporary one to bring to the AP office. Went straight there & was seen by a lovely CM called Julie. I asked to renew the 2 APs & she said that they don't usually give the extra 6 mths if it has already expired. I explained that I was going to post it off, but had booked the flights the week before it expired, so there wouldn't have been time to get it back. So she went to look for her superviser & there was no problem & I got the extra 6 mths added.

I hope you get the same result. But, it probably depends on who you get dealing with you on the day you go to renew.

Thankyou so much, very good to know :thumbsup2 Glad you got yours sorted.

I may give it a shot - worth a try eh?!

I renewed a pass and got the free 6 months, when I was about a week over the expiry of my original pass. I thought you had up to 30 days to renew, but I don't remember seeing anything in writing about that.
