Renewing AP w/ DVC

I am going to renew my AP before the expiration date, I understand it's then good for 15 months from the expire date on the current one, right?
Or is it 15months from the date of renewal?

Also, the first time I'll be using it after I renew is for a trip I was invited on by a friend at work, to stay in her Vistana timeshare in September. When we visit Disney parks on that trip, where do I go to get my actual AP?
I'll get the voucher via mail, correct?

It is 15 months from the expire date. You must renew within 30 days of the expire date. You can pick up your pass from a guest services window at any of the 4 theme parks or Downtown Disney Marketplace.

Children (ages 3-9): $304

DVC Premium AP Renewal:
Adults (ages 10+): $454
Children (ages 3-9): $401

Yea. I want to know too. I thought the 15 month extension promotion ended a few months ago.

I beleive it is on until August. We just renewed ours last month and received 15 months on a DVC renewal.

The 15 for 12 promotion is scheduled to end on August 31st, 2010. So it still is active.

Any idea or speculation if they will continue the 15 month AP "promotion"?

If they changed it to 15 that would be great for the people who only visit once a year.

I really hope that they extend this promo. Ours expires October 17th.
