renewing annual pass?

we should be going again in june but my mams annual pass is up in april. does she just buy a new on when we get there or renew it? is there a difference? last time i think she received six months extra free are they still doing this or is it a once off?

has anyone bought annual passes online. i have heard of two different sites, ce multiadvantages and promoparcs. is there any difference between the two and how long before we go should i buy them.

She still gets 6 months if she renews it but it's got to be done within the month of it expiring iirc - will look it up tomorrow if no one replys before. She also might be able to do it by post still.

CEM has a higher joining fee than Promoparcs but Promoparcs has much higher postage so it works out the same

Perso I'd go with CEM as they are a better company on customer service, have more varied offers and they work with companys that I know and have worked with my self but that's just me.

eta - You have 6 months from purchase to validate the "pass" that they send you into a "real" AP in the park

thanks that is great. i think i will go with cem for mine and my dd's annual pass.

i can let my mam know about her options but i think it would just be easier to buy them online with me lol.

I will renew my passport and I guess I will get 6 more month

At the same time my daughter will get a first pass. Will she get the 6 more month too ?

No, if it's her first pass, then she can't get the extra 6 months.

What you can do is look for someone who's there the same day you are, and she can get a 10% discount on her pass.
(I might be able to help there )

(if she's above 7 that is, I'm not sure if it works the same under the age of 7)

I just ordered a new dream pass from CEM and although I do not need it also received a free childs dream pass for under 7 years. Wish I had known about this when my son was still young enough - would have saved us a fortune!

did it take long for postage?

i am going to buy mine online but my mam is being stubborn and wants to renew hers so i guess i will have to see if she can do it by post as we wont be there for two months after hers expiring.

We got ours from CEM last year, with help from Carrie_Cat, took about 5 days in the post.

Can you renew before the AP's expire? Ours expire June 2nd, but we leave for home on May 30th...

yes, I believe you can - within one month of the expiry date.

They will make the new one out to your old expiry date and you'll get the extra 6 months so it will make it valid until 2/12/14

No excuse not to make lots of trips like that
