Renewing annual pass with parksavers purchase

My granddaughter's AP will expire in April. I would like to get the 13 month annual pass for her during our April trip. Can I get the parksavers pass and then use it to renew her current annual pass? We will be going down in November and can pick up the parksavers ticket. I do understand I can use this to purchase her next AP and then just activate in April. My question would be can I do a renewal with this when we are down there in November to save on a renewal. I'm guessing the answer is no but worth the time to ask.

I'm 90% sure you can only renew an AP 60 days in advance or 30 days after the renewal date. It would not be an option for you to renew it in november for her. I've actually been talking to ticketing and guest relations who haven't said no to just giving me the extra month yet but they haven't said yes. this has been my argument that an AP holder doesn't get to pick and peopel who activated or renewed are also getting it and that's not what the deal says online.

I did the math on purchasing a new one right now and waiting to activate it instead of renewing and I found the renewal price was better money wise to only get 12 months. However if I knew i needed that extra month and didnt' plan to also renew in 2018 it does make sense at that point. i've never tried buying a second ap before so no clue if this is even possible.

thank you. There are 3 others of us traveling and we were able to use the parksavers ticket to get AP certificates which we will activate in April. We were told we needed to activate within 18 months. I was just hoping to be able to save on the renewal fee also. We were wanting the extra month.
