She has, I am sure, a personal trainer and a chef to help her. And if she had to eat just a TON of junk to get to the size 14, and doesn't normally like to eat like that, I can see how it would at least be easy to start eating healthy again. She gets paid lots o money to look great; if someone paid me 15 million for 6-8 months of work, I could do it too.

My DH-2-Be loves it when she's chubby and think she's icky when she's rail thin. (Am I lucky or what?? )

He never minds watching Bridget Jones' Diary with me. He says it's just to be fair, cuz I watch some of *his* movies with him, but I know it's really just because he loves the scene where they get the undershot of her going down the fireman's pole, and when she's dressed up in her bunny costume.

It cracks me up - he thinks he is so sly.

What I want to know is what happens to the elasticity of her skin, after gaining, losing, gaining, losing. She's pretty young now, she's gonna be pissed at 40-something that she did that to her body when that skin starts to sag, all for a movie role.

I love her though, she's one of my most fave actresses. And lets face it, Bridget is always struggling with her weight. Renee makes the role better by being who Bridget truly is, and does a great job of it. I wasn't sure at first why they casted her in that role and not one of the many great British actresses around, but I think whomever did the casting obviously had great vision because Renee IS Bridget.

I don't know how she gains and loses, but I honestly think that she looks a lot better at a size 14. She looks healthier. My DH would agree, I think. He's not crazy about the rail-thin look (thank goodness!)
