Well we are finally tucked in at Lake Louisa State Park in Clermont for the night.
This was us in the parking lot at Burger King for lunch.
Traffic south of Atlanta was frustrating. Coming to a stop, waiting sixty seconds, then starting again. (right there where the express lanes are closest to the city). Happened two more times before things opened up just above Macon. I know it was a Friday morning and going home in the other direction will be on a Sunday but it makes me consider alternative routes.
Oh and the blown tire on the tow vehicle was fun.
At least it stopped smoking by the time I got it in the car. So I am going to be in search of new tires this week since the spare is now in service - thus I currently have no backup. Thank goodness for the GDOT Roadside Service that cruises the interstate helping folks like me. Very professional. It happened about 20 miles north of Valdosta.
Lots of rain (heavy at times) Valdosta to Gainesville off and on.
20 minute stop in place below Lake City on I75 for no visible reason once we got going again. Heavy traffic around Gainseville (going home time on a Friday afternoon).
Stopped at Moe's in Clermont for some takeout dinner and got checked in at LLSP before the ranger office closes at 730pm (currently). We are in #1 next to a lake with a pier and the comfort station. The good Lord really outdid himself with the sunset picture he left us tonight. (oh hey and thanks for sending the roadside service guy my way too).
Popped the camper up and AC running. Tired, worn out, may not leave crack of dawn tomorrow. Although I will cruise by tiggerdad's site and blow the horn

if his truck is still there when I leave in the morning.
