Hey dis'ers.

So, I just got a kitten! I have ONE question though.

How do you give your cat a bath?! (If you own a cat, of course!)

I have nnooooo idea. I've looked on google, but the things I read seem so complicated, and I rather have somebody else's advice, as somebody I know and can understand!

I guess try to use a washcloth?
Or take it to Petco or your vet office to have your kitten cleaned.

I didn't think cats needed to have baths though. They usually clean themselves.

Yeah, that's what my mom said. But my dad won't let that happen!

I don't think either of my parent's would take the kitty anywhere just to get it cleaned, when they could do it at home themselves. (they're reallllllly cheap)

Cats hate water!

Maybe tell your dad that cats clean themselves? Everytime my cat sits on the ground or falls off of something, they all begin to lick their paws and clean themselves. Sometimes they clean each other.

What kind of kitten did you get?

Rofl. Kitty = No bath. I guess no bath for my kitten then.

I really have no idea. Some of the breed types look the same!

But, it's gray, with a solid black stripe down it's back, and black and gray stripes going across it's back.

Answer, slowly


add warm water in a sink slowly and rub it down
eventuly it will like the watter and you can be more thourogh

Get a big cup, the cat shampoo. blah blah.
Dump the cup of water on them, DON'T GET THEIR HEAD OR EARS = BAD!
rub the soap on them after they're wet, rinse, wrap in a towel for a few minutes, and let them dry. They might look like a rat though.

I think they can be annoying when they bark though.

Just until they dry. You're kitty's gonna be walking around like, shaking the water off it's legs a lot.

It's sorta basic, you just need to hold onto the cat at all times whilst in the bathtub. Cats HAAATE water, and they will jump out at the first opportunity.

Haha that sounds really simple, i'll have to ask my sister to hold down the cat while I do it.

I mean, the cat just smell's terrible, and it lived outside of all it's 6 months alive.

So, now it's living indoors with us, and I don't want it to smell that bad...
But i'm surprised. I thought it would've been more scared living indoors, but it got pretty used to it; really quick.

Kitty was on my nightstand. I cleared out the two shelves below it that go in, and he would climb inside both, and watch the door! The line going on the side of him, is part of the cable on the top of the picture. lol, it's not a mutation.

Haha. The nightstand picture was funny, because on the lamp I hung up on the ceiling, I hung up my blue dreamcatcher, to the bottom part of the lamp. So the cat was on it's two paws, OVER the edge of the nightstand, trying to grab the feathers hooked to the bottom of the net thing.
