We are going to try joining the Remy virtual queue next week and am staying onsite. During one of our days we will be visiting Epcot during the "park hopping" hours in the afternoon. Since we would like to ride Remy, will the system allow me to join the 7am virtual queue release if Epcot isn't our first park? Or will I have to wait until 1pm? If the system does let me get in the queue at 7am, what are the chances that I get an early morning return? If I miss that return, will it let me still enter the ride "after 2pm?"

We are not interested in Lightning Lane.

no, you need to have a park reservation for Epcot before it will allow you to join the virtual queue at 7, and you can't park hop until 2. The only way this will work is if the 1 pm queue is open past 2.

If you are staying at a “deluxe” resort, Remy has now been added to the after hours.

Thanks all. We are not staying at a deluxe. Looks like we will just have to shoot for the one day we are visiting Epcot in the morning.

Since you are park hopping over, you will need to use the afternoon virtual queue. You also can't join until you have scanned into Epcot, so I would try to get there right at 2 pm.

I joined the Remy virtual queue right at 7am, got boarding group 97. Called back at 5:30pm. Don't count on a morning visit unless you pay.

That should make the extra evening hours at EPCOT more popular. They certainly weren't when we were there.

Another thread said it was standby only.
Wonder how that will work as there will still be people from the VQ in line when the extra hours start, unless they stop adding BGs early.
