Hello,
We are cruising on the Fantasy from 10/3 to 10/10. What is your opinion of Remy versus Palo? Would you recommend dinner over brunch? We are curious why Remy costs an additional $85 versus $30 at Palo?

This is our second Disney cruise. We cruised on the Magic in 2004 and had dinner at Palo. We loved our meal (especially the chocolate soufflé)! We are thinking about having a special meal again on this cruise, but wonder if the additional cost is worth it.

Any advice or opinions are appreciated!!

Palo is italian feel, Remy is a full dinner theatre experience, I would say do both at least once.

Remy has brunch and dinner, I think dinner is best. You get a lot of extras with it.

Palo has brunch not to be missed and dinner both worth going.

Remy is very fine French dinning and is very worth while the extra upcharge on it.

If you have done Palo dinner on the Magic, then go for the Remy experience, it is so worth it, you will have a wonderful time, its Palo+++more.

DW and I will always choose the Palo brunch over the other choices. We like being able to look "out" during the day. At night you can not see anything outside the restaurant.

remy dinner is our most favorite thing - if you look up here or on just google you will find many extensive threads about the differences (and therefore differences in the uncharges) between the two - it's quite a bit of a difference, but all the experiences are enjoyable! have a great cruise!!

Palo brunch is first choice for us and a must on every cruise.
Palo dinner is excellent, always go at least once per cruise.
We did Remy brunch, it was very good, not a must but glad we tried it.
Remy dinner amazing experience with outstanding service, will do again.
Remy dessert experience was so delicious, would never pass it up.

We've done all of the various meals at Remy & Palo, and have enjoyed each. Each are totally different, which for me makes them hard to compare. But for us the Remy dinner is a truly wonderful experience with Gourmet Food & Unbelievable Service. I agree with Disney Fantasy the $85 upcharge is worth every penny.

Thank you for your opinions and advise!

I went ahead and made a dinner reservation for Remy for the Wednesday evening on our cruise. Now I just have to convince DH that the extra cost is worth it! I googled Remy and found some excellent reviews on Trip Advisor and Yelp that I will share with my DH.

Thanks again!

Gayl
