Remy dress code - help!

Hi everyone,

Am counting down to our first ever cruise as part of our honeymoon in September! However, I'm getting confused about the remy dress code - I have brunch and dinner booked.

The dress code for brunch and dinner says no sandals or flip flops for women. I'm not sure if there is something lost in translation (!) but does that mean I have to wear pumps/high heels? I have some really beautiful sandals that are very dressy, would I get turned away? Also some beautiful crystal flip flops - not casual havaianas or anything...

For dinner it is not so much a problem, as I am planning on wearing heels. But for brunch, what options do I have? Sorry for such a girly question, I will pack whatever is required but am so confused....! Thanks!

You will be fine with those shoes. They mean casual sandals and flip flops.

They only mean the casual flip flops ect. Dressy Sandals you will be fine with

We had dinner at Remy on Wednesday night. I have a friend that was once told to go back to her stateroom and change shoes (what she described as "dressy sandals") so I was nervous about what to wear. We ate at Palo the night before and on the way out I asked the hostess at the Palo/Remy check-in desk if the sandals I was wearing would be okay. She said they were fine because they have a strap around the back. Here is what I was wearing:

I was still nervous so I brought a pair of heels with me in my little bag. No one told me to change shoes so that was a relief! And honestly, a little bit of a shock. I was really surprised that those sandals were okay.

I'm sure it's up to the discretion of the host/hostess, so I'll probably still bring the spare pair in the future. And brunch seems way more casual - similar to the Palo dress code, as I'm reading it - so I'm less worried about that one.
