Once upon a time didnt Remy make an appearance at Chefs de France, wheeled around on a trolley? Does that still occur - what meals/times? Thanks for any illumination on this!

I believe this is hit or miss. We did a lunch seating back in November of 2010 and we got to see Remy, but I've heard that there is no telling on when or if he will make appearances from day to day. I believe you'll have better luck at lunch than dinner though

Remy still makes the rounds at Les Chefs on Monday through Saturday at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50, and 5:20 pm (he does NOT appear on Sundays). He is an audio-animatronics figure, so he does occasional have technical difficulties and does not appear or has to cut an appearance short.

When he is there, he (and his waiter/waitress host) make the circuit of tables in the resturant. If you're not seated at your table, he does not come back. So if you're in the bathroom or still waiting to be seated when he goes by the table, you've missed out.

REMY Info:

1) Inside Les Chefs de France.
2) Monday-thru-Saturday at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50 & 5:20pm
3) Visiting
. . . he usually comes out right on schedule
. . . the cart makes one trip around the eatery
. . . you must wait until he comes to your table *
. . . you cannot get up and go over to him, handlers guard him
. . . if you miss him, he does not make a second trip
. . . you must wait for the next scheduled time
. . . if your ADR is near a scheduled time, be early
. . . you may not be seated on time, and will miss him
. . . you might be in line waiting for a table when he appears
. . . if so, you wait for the next scheduled trip

* If people gathered around the cart, it would clog the aisles. Guests
might be pressing their shorts against another guest's tabletop and
food (yuck, gross). Also, he's temperamental and occasionally doesn't
appear at all - and without prior notice. Could be technical glitches or even
absenteeism. There are times he breaks down during the tour and has
to stop visiting. So don't overly promise the little ones.

all of the above

we planned a lunch & I didn't tell DH or DS about the possible visit just in case it didn't happen. it so happened the restaurant wasn't buzy & remy came for a rather long visit. got many pictures with DS - it was cute.

we're going to try again next visit because we all really enjoyed our lunch. I wouldn't go just to see remy (sorry remy) but if it so happens, consider it one of those magical moments :)
