Am I correct in assuming that if we aren’t planning on gettting to Epcot until late afternoon/early evening, that we won’t be riding Remy’s Adventure? With the 7a and 1p BG, don’t we have to be INSIDE the park to get the 1p BG?

Once Lightning Lane starts you can buy your way in! Other wise yes early reports are 7am and 1pm BG assignments. Just like RoR at HS the whole idea is to discourage hopping just to ride that ride.

What happens if you get a 7am BG, but you miss your ride time? Are you able to ride it later? Probably not?! (We haven’t been to Disney in years, so I’m figuring out all this in the months leading up to our trip.) We have a park reservation for Epcot, but it’s our arrival day; so we probably won’t get there until 5:00. Not sure I can convince myself (or my husband) to spend $80 on our family to ride that 1 ride.

Boarding groups are given out at 7am(and 1pm) but your time may be as late as 1pm. You don't know until you get your BG. I believe at RoR you have 2 hours after your BG is called to enter the queue. You wont be able to attempt a 1pm BG unless you are in the park at that time. So unless you buy LL, you wont get to ride Remy that day.

Just wonder how many of the free boarding group rides they will swap over to the paid version.

You don't have to be inside the park at 1, but you had to have scanned into the park at some point earlier in the day. Same as it's been since BGs started for RotR.

Most likely yes, you will be allowed to ride later. CMs have allowed this for RotR more often than not.
Could depend on how the ride is functioning that day and if they are on schedule.
The ride is not a complicated one like Rise and it has existed for years in Paris so it should be reliable.

If you miss your BG return time there is possibility you may not be able to ride. This is happening more and more right now. Also, once LL is brought in I can see return times being enforced even more..

Current return time is 1 hour in length. It was 2 in the past but has been 1 for the past year+.

You don’t have to physically be inside the park at 1pm HOWEVER at some point between park open and 1pm you would of had to of tapped in

It’s all a random lottery I know with rise I’ve pulled at 7am and have boarded anytime between 1030am-3ish (two times boarding number was in high 20s once in the 70s)

I definitely will be curious to see the % of rider capacity between 7am dump 1pm dump and ALC$

I’m going to blindly guess… 30% 7am lotto 30% 1pm lotto 40% paid
