When I try to remove someone who hasn't been to WDW since 2017 I get the screen below. Any way around this? These 'expired' F&F slow us down when trying to get into a boarding group. Thanks!

Because even if their ticket media is invalid, and even if you deactivate any Magic Bands, they still are considered "active." You can call Disney IT (via guest services) and have them removed.

Yeah, that's what I had to do but I will say that at 4:30 pm I had a 5 min wait and a 3 min exorcism. Pretty painless but I don't see why this feature can't be built into the site.

I was able to remove people on my list via the app because I kept getting the same error you got when I logged in on my PC.
Thanks for this tip! I wasn’t able to remove from the laptop but I could on the app :)

Yeah, I have same situation and I know I need to call and keep putting it off (no luck via app or PC). In the meantime I renamed the person to "Forky Asks a Question" just to make me smile rather than get irritated every time I see it :)

I guess I am going to have to call IT. When I try on the app, the app closes.

Thanks for this- I actually was just trying to do it on the PC a few days ago and couldn't- got that same error. I just tried on the app on my android phone and it worked.

One other related question if anyone knows...
This summer for my trip it's just myself and my daughter. My daughter is listed on me with a note (Plans managed by my wife- not me). Is this an issue, or should I figure out how to change it to me? It let me add her just fine to all my ADR's and any other plans I've put into the MDE

Thanks for these posts. I was able to remove all but one of my extra F&F using the app. Then I noticed that the one remaining still had an active magic band through my account. Once I deactivated that I was able to remove her.

Using the advice on this thread (use the app, and deactivate magic bands) I was able to remove 7 of the 8 people I don't want on my list. Just my brother-in-law is left. Why will you not leave the list, MIKE, why??? LOL.

I was also able to remove 8 of 9 using the app - just couldn't get rid of my sister-in-law. Tried removing her 4 times - each time I got a message "cannot update at this time" even though I removed others before and after trying to get rid of her. Then --- signed out of the app, signed back in, and magically she was gone. Went into account on PC & yup - all gone! Thank you!!!!!!

WOO HOO!! I was able to remove my friend Forky! I followed @Donnainnj 's advice and deactivated his magic bands. I couldn't remove him from my list right away, but after logging off for several hours I decided to log on and try again - presto!

Thanks everyone!

So I have a question. I have some long ago friends on my list, I want to delete them. They probably have their own account by now, I don't know, we don't keep in touch. Not sure if I can deactivate their bands. What if they are still using them? They do still visit the parks. Don't want to screw them up. What do you think?

I called IT to take care of it. They told me that any remaining tickets and magic bands would deactivate too. There were no days remaining so it didn’t matter.

Success finally! I had to deactivate the magic band on the website and then remove the friend from the app. Just had to find the right combo. :confused3

I used the “chat with us” on the app to remove my mother from my friends a family list. It was pretty slick. I had to fill out a secure form that had my name and reservation number. I gave him no other info, and he wrote back “are you wanting to remove ####?”. Then he removed her. So obviously he could see that she wasn’t on the upcoming reservation. The whole process took less than 3 minutes.
