Removing Friends and Family from My Disney Experience

I just did it through chat a few minutes ago. Very easy.

I have never been able to remove people from my friends and family list online at www.disney.com, but through the App, I was able to remove family members whom I know longer wished to keep on the list. They had no valid media either but did have MBs and I received the error online that they could not be removed, but the App allowed me to delete them and that, in turn, translated to deletion on line.

Had family and friends from previous trips still listed. Could not remove them online or with the app. It said they had active plans (which none of them have had for 1-2 years).
The person on chat was very helpful.

Just wanted to say thank you to this thread! I was able to chat on the Disney website and remove several people plus move people onto the reservation correctly so we could all be linked together!

I just tried calling Disney for this problem, 80 minute wait to speak to someone!

I'm still trying to remove someone I added by mistake to my hotel reservation, If I try to delete the profile the app wouldn't let me because it says that person have active plans....

There should be a little "chat" icon on the right side of the screen when you're anywhere on the disney world site. Alternatively, go to "contact us" on the bottom of the page and you should be able to get to chat that way, too.
