Remember Y2K Desserts?

When we went down for the millenium celebration (September of 2000) all the restaurants offered these wonderful desserts! The one I loved was the huge chocolate EPCOT ball filled with ice cream.
Ever since then, I feel I haven't had a dessert that compares.
Anyone know if they'll be doing up more fancy desserts like that?
I think they should have a new one every year.

They have some great Happiest Celebration on Earth desserts right now, in celebration of the Happiest Celebration on Earth. We had several and they were delicious!

I didn't see them? What were they and where were they? Maybe I just really liked the 2000 EPCOT ball and don't remember the happiest ones.....

I really miss the Millenium Mousse. Haven't found anything that compares but maybe some of the new Happiest Celebration ones will. I'll find out in less than 2 weeks.

P.S. In the Polynesian Hotel by the restrooms there are computer terminals. While down there, I've checked out many a DIS post....If you find time, let us know

Corryn - I believe we were at MNSSHP the same night as you...in fact, I think your family is in the background of some of our photos of the castle. lol...I wanted to be a pirate last year and so I noticed your family's fabulous costumes all night. It might have been a different family cause I thought the kids were younger...but I don't know. Either way, you guys are adorable!

NO WAY!!! How funny!!! Every time I look at the photos from what I call "One of the greatest nights of my life (I slipped one time and said, even my wedding, in front of my husband ) I yearn to go again! It was such an awesome, happy time. I mean, who the heck ever thought of trick or treating in the Magic Kingdom? That person is a Genius!!!
Are your photos in an online album? If so, I would like to see them. I had the camera all night and I have tons of photos of Ed and the girls, but none of me and the girls
The next time we go, I'm gonna dress up again like a pirate. POTC is my fav
