Somewhere on one of these Survivor threads, someone said there was a program that would vote for your choice repeatedly. That someone had used such a program to cast 24 thousand votes for Jenna.

I have been feeling so discouraged ever since I read that. If computer savy cheaters can take control like that, then what is the point?

hummm........ I wonder if CBS learned a lesson or two off AI's voting & will only count the first vote from each computer address. Just because they "let" you vote a hundred times, doesn't mean they will count them........

I sure hope you are right. How hard can it be? You only get one vote in the DIS polls for heaven's sake.

I have never seen AI so I don't know what happened.

I was the one who posted about it, I saw the post on another Tv board.

Sure they could've limited the vote but then they wouldn't be able to say we received a ???? zillion votes! Given that the ratings were down for the finale, this is a way for them to show advertisers for next year, look how many people voted, forget about the ratings and still pay these ridiculous advertising prices we demand.

I will be shocked, really shocked if Rupert doesn't win but then stranger things have happened!

For the People's Choice Awards they let you vote as many times as you wanted. It worked for my little band too.

That would be so unfair. I hope they are smarter than that. I know when I was voting for CMTs flameworthy award (country music) it would say "you have already voted" and would not let me vote again. That is fair.

Not to say we ever did this, but if a poll tells you that you already voted, if you go and erase the "cookies", you can vote again.
