Thinking about the forgotten foods and games, thought this may be fun. What are some old movies or favorite shows that you know longer see, or cant even buy on dvds. I'll start with Dark Shadows. Favorite movie was Snowball express. Lets hear your favs!:happytv: Jo

I was just going to post Dark Shadows. I remember watching that right after school when I was very young.

We used to watch all of the usuals after school like Gilligan's Island, The Brady Bunch, The Partridge Family, and The Mickey Mouse club.

I also remember shows like Wild, Wild West, The Rifleman, and Branded.

As far as movies, anything with Clint Eastwood was popular in our house.

I always liked Green Acres.
And one of my favorite movies is The Ghost and Mr Chicken, starring Don Knotts.
(I use to watch Dark Shadows too. ;) )

I bought Snowball Express on DVD about a month ago at Best Buy. I like that movie!!

my parents are divorced and we used to go with my dad on weekends. On Saturday nights we would watch TJ Hooker, Love Boat, Knight Rider, Remington Steele and Tales from the Darkside (yeah smart move dad, letting us watch that right before bed ) I got Love Boat from Netflix a couple weeks ago and it's just as cheesy as I remember it being! But still fun.

I miss the comedies... Growing Pains, Who's the Boss, Mr. Belvedere, Silver Spoons and Small Wonder to name just a few

Outer Limits
Man From Uncle
Perry Mason
The Avengers
That was the Week that Was
Laugh In
Star Trek
Get Smart
Laredo

:grouphug: Loved them.

My favorite sitcom of all time - Perfect Strangers.

A few years ago they released seasons 1 and 2 on DVD, but have never released any more of them. I would give my left arm to have the rest of the seasons on DVD, especially season 3, with the "Bibibobka" episode.

"If you don't make the Bibibobkas the traditional Myposian way, the Bibi in the Bobka goes BOOM."

What great shows, Dark Shadows a movie? Really? Any more details? I will see if I can locate Snow ball express. Thanks for the input this is fun to read everyones favorites.:dance3: Jo

I remember watching lancelot link and wait til your father gets home. I don't think I've ever seen them on reruns. I swear they were reruns when I saw them when I was a kid.

I miss when they used to play some of the older shows on tv, don't see them on reruns anymore. Things like Banacek, Quincy, Columbo and the one with Rock Hudson. My husband would really love to see Adam 911 and Emergency. When he was home after surgery he was elated to see Hawaii 5-0. It was a pleasant break from all of the Law & Orders.

I used to love watching Love Boat.

I thought of a few more:
Barnaby Jones
Hart to Hart
Remington Steele
Happy Days
Laverne & Shirley
Charlie's Angels

Oh, I use to love Get Smart too. Even the Man from U.N.C.L.E.
Also Love Alfred Hitchcock. I have several of his movies. (Same for Marilyn Monroe and also Robert Mitchem). I have the DVD for Alfred Hitchcock Presents. :lovestruc
And I also have all the Thin Man movies.
Also, who can forget W.C. Fields? :lovestruc
"A woman drove me to drink and I didn't even have the decency to thank her.
W. C. Fields"

I used to love to watch
Alice
Good Times
Facts of Life
Dallas
My two Dads
Greatest American Hero
Life Goes On
The Jeffersons
Family Ties
A team
Air Wolf
Gidget
My favorite Marshin

I could go on and on. They just don't have family shows like that anymore!
