Question about paper bag books ... are they acid free?

I seriously doubt that they are acid free since these are lunch bags from the grocery store. I suppose I could have sprayed them with that archival mist but... I didn't. It's a coffee table book. I'm sure kate will eventually spill soda on it or something too. (so what's a little bit of acid right? ) Clearly not for the faint of heart acid free scrapper, but very fun to make! maggie

perfect for those pictures that you love but don't need in your albums persay -

as for the archival quality I am assuming the pictures are all digital and therefor saved on cd so if you ever really needed them again its not like you can't ever get another copy of it (after Kate spills something on it - lol)

Soda near the scrapbbok stuff?!! Tisk!! Tisk!! I spilled water on the computer table a few weeks ago, & it got into a small sb I made for a friend for his birthday. I had to "alter" some of the pages! And here I sit with a can of soda next to the computer ... some of us never learn!!

I know I use things in my sbs that probably aren't acid free & all that, but I use them anyway ... oh well ...

JudithM I woudlnt' worry about the acid part. again the pictures can always be redone if need be. And things do happen! Plus I think some of the natural aging of the Paper bag book will give it character down the road!
