I was wondering if anyone else remembers this attraction at Wonders of Life when it first opened, and if so, how long it lasted and why it was discontinued. It was a big batting cage type thing, where you could go in, choose one of several sports (I remember that baseball and golf were two of the choices), and have your swing "anazlyzed" (I think the CM there just chose one of several videos with tips for you). We went right after WoL opened in 11/89 and all the males in our family did this and loved it. But I've never seen it since. Who else remembers and knows anything about it?

I have the greatest video of DS batting in Coach's Corner when he was about 7 (that would be about 10 years ago). I was able to tape both him in the cage hitting the ball and then the pro (forget who) on the screen analyzing his swing - the CM made a big deal out of complimenting him, too. It was such a cute attraction and he LOVED it! I miss the whole Wonders of Life pavilion - we always had a great time there - do you remember the bikes that 'rode' you through WDW on a video screen? I don't understand why they closed it, other than rumors that they lost their sponsor.

You know, up until reading this post, I didn't even remember Coach's Corner, but now I do. I remember seeing it on our '99 trip but I think it was gone by our '01 trip. I'm not positive about that, but I would guess it was taken out some time around 2000. bjackmom - I miss the pavilion too!
