Went to WDW/USF last month but must go again because missed so much. Told DH that next time I was going without him and I am! Will still be going with DD-3 , DS-11, DSister and DM in two weeks.

But don't waste any pity on DH, he will be going fishing with his brothers.

DH takes a long time to get ready in am and doesn't want to get up early on vacation. Meanwhile I'm awake at 5:30 from excitement, (3:30 am the first day!)

Should have left him to sleep in at hotel but wasn't with him at rental counter so wasn't a legal driver.

First morning we all agreed on Universal. But DH was following signs to WDW. When I pointed this out-" What do you mean, Universal isn't in Disney World!" And he said this in outrage, as if it was my fault!
Yes, this is the same man who scoffed at my reading the DisBoards!

Last morning as we waited 45 minutes in the car for him to be right out- I go in to find DH searching the floor for tiny screw to his favorite pair of sunglasses. I calmly ( alright- despairingly) explained that we had paid over $400 in tickets for this day, or $50/hr, and could he just buy another pair of sunglasses?

The only day we made it early to the Park was the day we has PS for PSB. What a difference to be there early!

So this trip I want to ride Splash Mountain and see all of Spectromagic and ride the Jungle Cruise. That's not too much to ask, is it?

Yeah, I am glad I am going back!

Hope you have a great time and get to see all the things you missed.

For some of us it takes a trip (or two!) to sync out our travelling styles. I'm laid back on vacation everywhere in the world, EXCEPT WDW, which took DH by surprise. And DH likes to do less at WDW. Now we go slowly at WDW when we are together, and I take a girls-only long weekend at WDW every fall.

My DH likes WDW but definitely is a stop and smell the roses kind of guy. I am a check it off your list kind of gal on vacation. Opposites attract , I guess. Next vacation, Hilton Head, just relaxing without kids
