Remedial banking and transferring question.

Remedial question, apologies.

December use year. 350 VGF pts annually. Must make decision to bank before 7/31 each year.

2018: 252 pts left
2019: 117 pts left
2020: 350 pts

Q1: if I choose to bank the 252 now... hence 252+117=369 to 2019... I am confirming that by that action, inherently, I cannot borrow any back to 2018 in case I do travel after all before December 2019. Right?

Q2: without banking, if I want to explore transferring these to another member, and the desired transfer amount is greater than 252 pts, can I transfer two amounts since from different use years?... Or is there a once a year transaction rule too?

Q1: Yes. Once points are banked, they cannot be borrowed into their original UY and must be used in the year they have been moved to. Banking or borrowing is a one-time, permanent transaction.

Q2: I believe you can only transfer once per year.

A1: You could borrow the 117 points from 2019 if you wanted to go before 12/1/2019. (I'd wait until July 2019 before banking the 2018 points if I wasn't sure of My plans yet).

A2: Yes, you can transfer 2018 points and also transfer 2019 points. Rule is once per use year either into or out of the membership, but not both.
