While sitting and typing some export documents I started wondering about all the pointless irrelevant little disclaimers I have to type on all this stuff.

Here's a favorite

"THE POULTRY MEAT/POULTRY MEAT PRODUCT WAS PRODUCED ON OR AFTER NOVEMBER 9, 2004."

Sure it was relevant on November 10, 2004 and for a good year after that but seriously.......would anybody still be trying to move meat that was from 2004??????:confused3

Anyone else have any pointless or funny remarks/disclaimers to add?

If you worked in the frozen food industry that is a very relevant statement. And yes there are some frozen meats that are good for up to 10 years.

I do but most all our inventory is on a 6 month or less expiration depending upon how processed it is and what customer it's for, different companies have different expectations/standards. I've seen some of the inventory that got missed and is out of date.......over 2 years old and it starts looking pretty rough.....even if it has been frozen according to USDA regulations the entire time.

What exactly is in that chicken anyway??? :rotfl: You really don't want to know!!!!!!:rolleyes1
