Since we both live in Orlando, my DF *did not* want to got to Disney for a honeymoon. So, we both agreed to Ireland. Great idea, right? Well, we started looking at costs/debts/etc (do we want to go to Ireland, or do we want a new house?

), and decided to postpone for a little bit. Now what to do....
I was watching a Travel Channel special about Disney one day, and as they were showing the Animal Kingdom Lodge, DF wandered into the room, and got really interested. He looked over at me and said, "that would be a pretty cool place to stay" So,
he then proposed the idea of a 3 day, 2 night mini-get away at AKL, with 1 day at MK and one at AK (He LOVES animals and thinks the AKL is "ok"), and
even agreed to Hoop-Dee-Doo and Boma!! My fiancee? The one who HATES Disney? Yep!
Moral of the story: Sucker them in with a hotel that intrigues them (AKL in my case), and then reel them into everything else (gently, of course!).
Oh, and my boy is a big Irish boy - his greatgrandfather was a boxing champ in Idaho, if that gives you an idea. Tall, broad, bald, and big. He gets on all the rides that I can make him (even Dumbo once) just fine!
