Would love any information on that area, i.e. Areas to live that are in good school district or any other helpful hints :)
Also if anyone has any information on Calvary Christian Academy, I'd love that too!

Any particular reason you chose Sunrise as the town to move to? Calvary is going to be a 30+ minute drive one way from Sunrise during the morning commute. If the job is in Sunrise, I would take a look at Parkland. It's a very easy commute to Sunrise, the public schools are stellar and there a some really good private schools in the area. When you do a search on Parkland on Realtor sites only look at the homes above the Sawgrass Expressway (Toll road 869). The area below 869 is Coral Springs and Coconut Creek where schools are very hit or miss. Some homes in Coral Springs are zoned for Parkland schools, but there are plans to rezone so that part of Coral Springs will be going to Coral Springs schools. Parts of the Heron Bay community just above 869 are technically Coral Springs as well. Avoid those homes due to the school rezoning.

I can't help with the living area around sunrise as we are further north on the broward/palm beach county line. However, we have known quite a few people who were involved with Calvary School and the church and they were all terrific. My sons were homeschooled all the way thru hs and there were a lot of homeschooled kids that were part of the church and played on the sports teams with the students there. One of my son's played HS ice hockey with them where the coach was the principle and we really liked him, both as a coach and his family. I do know he is no longer the princ. though. Always hear good things about the school.

Westin and Parkland are known for lovely areas and good schools. I would highly recommend a visit to the area before deciding. Westin is further south and west. Both areas are popular, growing quickly.

I say Sunrise because that is where my husbands new job will be. We definitely are not stuck on looking just in Sunrise, it is just a starting point. I posted here in hope to get some information like Pp have started to provide.
I will def look at those areas. We are hoping to go down there in the next week or two.
