Relocating to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Does anyone have any good advice as to where a new cast member should look for housing that is close enough to work but a have good quality living at affordable prices?

Unfortunately I don't have the answer to your question, but I did want to say hi and welcome! I am actually eager to see if anyone has any suggestions for you...I am looking for short-term housing around Disney as well. I won't be a CM, but something that caters to CMs (short-term, not too expensive, possibly furnished) would be perfect.

Have you tried posting on the DIS Cast Member board? There are some CMs that post here on the regular boards, but my guess is there will be plenty of CMs on that board who could give you some advice.

Champion's Gate is a fairly popular, affordable, and safe area. I have a few friends that live there (Legends I think it's called?) and it's very close to DAK.
