Can't seem to find this on Walmarts site. So wondering if any experts here.

I do in-store demos as a part time job - sometime at Walmart. At the end of the job, I make a purchase using my employers debit card for up to 75 cents. Its just for proof as to what time I left. I get to keep the purchase, so I usually get a candy bar.

My DSIL suggested that when I work at Walmart to ADD (or load) the 75 cents cash onto a WalMart reloadable card that I already have. That way, after a couple of jobs, I'll have $ I could use towards something I need to buy, rather than candy bars. AIN'T SHE SMART? :goodvibes

So, my questions are......can I load (add) just 75 cents onto an existing Walmart card?

And can that 75 cents come from a debit card (which I don't see why it couldn't.) ?

My guess - from my retail experience - is that while you CAN use a debit card to load a gift card, you won't be able to do it for 75 cents. Both places I've worked at (and places I've purchased cards), the minimum you could add to an existing card (or purchase a new card) was $5.

If nobody here knows, you could always ask next time you go in.

That's what I was figuring. There's got to be a minimum.
