Reloadable Visa/MC gift cards

Do you know if you can pay for a room only reservation with a reloadable Visa or MC gift card?

I know that you can't use them online to pay for a package (tried that before) but can you use them at the resort check in?

Yes, they act just like a regular Visa or Mastercard.
