Reliable crowdcalendars.....? when to go this week?

Hello all,

We are visiting some relatives in Orlando, and plan on visiting US/IOA one (or perhaps 2) days this week. Touringplans operate with a crowd-level at IOA of 9 for thursday, 8 for friday and a 5 for saturday. How reliable is this? I would think the crowds would get even larger this weekend.....but perhaps I am wrong?
Our option is to go either thursday, friday or saturday.

Any advice?

If it were me, I'd do Thursday.
I've been watching the Universal wait times app lately and weekdays have definitely seemed to have shorter waits. Best times are right at opening and a couple hours before closing.

Are you talking June 25-27 or July 2-4? My goto crowd calendar is the price of express passes on Universal's Website. June 25-27th is all the same price for express passes. So, I'd expect similar crowds all 3 days. Definately not 9 vs. 5 differences. Surprisingly Express passes are only $69.99 for July 4th and 5th, compared to $99.99 all the surrounding days. Universal's currently expecting much smaller crowds July 4th weekend proper compared to the days surrounding. It's possibly that more people are going to Disney those days for the over the top fireworks.

Yes, I am talking june 25-27.... I think we might go for thursday (tomorrow that is!) We always seem to plan things at the very last minute....
