Ummm...not sure what you are asking. BCV is a Disney owned timeshare. The public can rent rooms via Disney reservations.

When I called the CRO I was told that the DVC members may not have released their rooms yet for rentals and I was just wondering How far out the rooms get released to the Ressie office. The CM had no answers, so I thought you guys might know.

I'm not sure if there's any hard fast rule. I think it will be when Members start giving up their points for Disney Collection offerings.

How far in advance were you trying to book?

Generally speaking, CRO has a small inventory at each resort that is theirs. Then, as members exchange points for non-DVC vacations, additional inventory becomes available. And finally, any DVC points inventory not booked becomes available to CRO 60 days out.

Knowing when you are trying to book for will help us answer your question.

Honestly, I'd be surprised if many 2BR are available to the general public. Members tend to snag those up 11 months out. As a PP said, if someone trades out enough points, something might appear, but I wouldn't hold my breath if you were thinking specific dates.
