I know this has been discussed but when doing a search I can't find anything. So, if anyone has a link I would really appreciate it!

We we be at OKW April 27th to May 1st. Just a quick getaway I booked today. We will have our kids with us.(DD(10) and DS(5). We have done a no parks trip but only for 2-3 days. I need info on things to do that don't involve the parks and cost little to no extra money.
Thanks for any help!!

We just went for a week and only went to the parks one day. Here's what we did during our stay:
* Hung by the pool (couple of days)
* Played mini-golf in the afternoon and went to Coronado Springs for dinner.
* Spent an afternoon in DTD (I LOVE DTD!!! :cloud9: )
* If you have a car, there are some GREAT discount stores really close to WDW. There are also nice restaurants (Outback, Olive Garden) near them.
* Spent the evening at the Boardwalk. At dinner, walked around and got dessert.

While I'm not sure how much it costs, here are some other thoughts:
* Real golf (pretty expensive, though)
* Mini motor boats
* Covered family bikes at BW
* Movies by the pool (I know a couple of the resorts do this)
* Catch Epcot's fireworks at BW

Best of all...
R & R at the resort! It's free, and I can't wait to do it again in August!!! I understand the question, though. DS (12) and DD (5) can only take so much R & R before they are bouncing off the walls! :goodvibes

Go to the campground for the nightly campfire, sing-along and movie. The Camping Disboard posts the schedule. Also, try a night along the Boardwalk, and see what the campfire/movie is at the BCV.

Bobbi:goodvibes

If you want you can ride the monorail and the boat launches - I love the monorail ride and that's free! Take that to the Contemporary and then get the boat launch to Fort Wilderness. Visit the horses - there's a couple of CM's that are happy to talk about them. You also can catch the blacksmith working over there and see whatever animals they still have in their petting zoo.

Pool hopping too if you want to try something else other than your resort.

Great ideas guys thanks so much! I knew I can count on you all!!

As for Disneyquest, I know better than to take DH in there!LOL:lmao: Seriously, we would never see him again!;)

Beside BC showing movies at the beach --

what resorts show movies at the pool ?

:cool1:

I heard they also do it on the beach at the BC. Anyone know what time or where to find the schedule?
