We're going to DW the end of May and would like bring lunch into the parks. Can you tell me where, in AK, MK, HS, and Epcot, are good places to sit and have lunch that won't be in the baking sun?
Thank you,

There's quite a big of shaded seating around Flame Tree BBQ at AK.
Yep, you can sit right by the water. There are also a couple out of the way spots by the water on the way from Africa to Asia.

At Magic Kingdom, you could go to Tom Sawyer island. There are tables at Aunt Polly's.

AK- near Harambe market are tables that are covered, and behind the Dole whip stand as well. Flame Tree BBQ also has some shade.
HS- Fairfax Fare has outdoor, covered seating
MK- take the boat to Tom Sawyer Island and sit at Aunt Polly's (it's only open a few days a year at Christmas time so there won't be a lot of people looking to sit there). Also, there's a play area by Splash Mountain that's under cover and you could sit there as well.
Epcot- shade is a tall order here in general. Duck into the Land Pavilion and grab a table at Sunshine Seasons (a quick service) but I would try to do this at a less busy time (both so you get seating and so there is seating for those who order food there). There is some seating behind the America pavilion that has umbrellas as well.

In WS there's a patio on each side of the Rose&Crown, water side, umbrella tables on the right side patio, tree shade on the left, looking towards the water and facing Japan, up the hill to the left is a counter service eatery with a shaded patio, I believe these tables have umbrellas also.

In Animal Kingdom there are some nice shady gorilla watching benches. Eat, grab photos perfect!

Epcot has a large indoor area with tables, chairs, sofas with charging stations, you can enter from club cool or the exit to the character spot

Tons of good spots. We bring all of our own food in. You can eat inside at most QS places. If it's a "busy" season, we'll eat at slightly off peak hours so that we're not taking up tables that paying customers would need. However, during summer that's almost never an issue, even at peak lunch. Here are a few of the places we use...

MK - Tomorrowland Terrace (when it's open), Cosmic Rays, Pecos Bill, Pinocchio. If the weather is nice, we'll use the tables that are right across from Pirates entrance, or in that general area.
Epcot - Electric Umbrella, or inside The Land building. If it's nice out, we'll sit at the outside tables of Electric Umbrella (DW gets cold inside there)
AK - The restaurant across from Dinosaur, forget its' name. Either inside or out, depending on weather. The pizza place, again forget the name.
HS - If it's nice, we'll use the tables near the boat/dinosaur, or the tables on Sunset Blvd. Sometimes we use the Commissary, or the pizza place near Muppets if the weather is hot/cold/raining.

Great ideas , I didn’t know you could eat in the QS restaurants without purchasing from the location. The outdoor covered areas sounds like a good alternative. The last time we went the end of May the humidity hadn’t reached its peak yet, so I’m hoping it won’t be too bad this year.

There always seem to be plenty of open tables under the PeopleMover also. There is a snack stand there (Lunching Pad?).
