Relaxation, Disney Style, PTR. ~*TRIP REPORT HAS STARTED! 9/18 Pg. 155*~

LOL!! I can't believe you made a change 17 days out! :lmao: But if you're happy with it that's what counts!

The costumes are too cute! You guys are going to look fabulous!

I also love the tie dye!

Hurrah for 16 days. I know just what you mean about that feeling when you step on Main St. :cloud9: Your costumes are adorable. Marc's shirt is awesome!

16 days. Holy cow! It's almost here!!

Congrats on your AP. I think you will love having one and the TIW card can offer quite a savings. Just beware that they *usually* add the tip on for you when you use the card. I didn't know that the first few times I used it and of course the server getting a double tip didn't say anything...

Good for you on choosing the AP! Honestly, if you're planning on going that many times, you really can't go wrong with it. I always tell myself I'm going to upgrade, never do, and end up going enough times that it would have been worth it. Never mind the room discounts. And the TIW card. :::sigh:::

I love the costumes! Super cute.

And that's a nice tie dye if I do say so myself. ;)

Yesterday I made changes to our trip....again. 17 days out. Can you believe that? I can't.

I can totally believe it.

I am all for an annual pass , so it looks like you have come up with a great thing. You can always visit the Polynesian to hang out on the beach and watch fireworks and/or eat a meal. We always visit Poly - maybe just to have a Captain Cook's breakfast out on the beautiful lanai or shop. It's a regular stop for us, yet we have never stayed there.

I'll have to see costumes when I get home tonight.
No pictures at work. :upsidedow

Woo Hoo! :woohoo:

:rotfl: Only because it's you!

Sounds like a great plan. :)

I love the costumes. The two of you are going to look great!

I was thinking of your last question, and was finding it really tough to pick a favorite childhood moment at Disney. I think I'd have to go with my first trip to Disney. We were staying at the Poly. My Aunt came with us that trip, she must have been about 18 years old or so. Every night she'd get my brother and I all hopped up and we'd be dancing around the room dancing on the beds. I'm sure my parents weren't as excited about that, but we had a blast.

In the parks it would have to be watching the MSEP for the first time. I can't wait to see it again!
I love our costumes too, I think we are going to have so much fun dressing up! :goodvibes

That is a great memory, I'm sure your parents weren't loving excitment right before bed but it sounds like lots of fun!

I can't believe it either but I am really happy with my decision to go for the AP. The tie dye turned out great, it looks awesome on. I just can't decide what day to wear it. :rotfl2:

I love Marc's shirt, it was a little expensive but I think it's perfect for going with my poodle skirt. I found a 50's nerd costume but Marc really didn't want to wear it. :lmao:

I am so excited about being an AP holder. Jen has used a TIW card on our trips so I knew about the tip. There will be no double tipping from me. :rotfl:

I regretted not getting one in May '09. I know if I put the money out now then I have more money flexibility for January and after Christmas can be tricky money-wise.

Yes, it's a very nice tie dye. You are so great with them. :thumbsup2

You guys are going to be sooo cute! Ok, I'm ready to be at Disney. :rolleyes1
Me too! I'm so so so READY!

I can totally believe it.

I can't, I thought I was done. Famous last words. :rotfl2:

We will be going to the Polynesian for Kona Cafe so I'm excited for that. It's just so nice to look around there. :goodvibes

:rotfl2: Another change!!!!!!!! :rotfl2: Too bad you won't be staying at the Poly for this trip. I hope you get to on your next trip with Marc.

I love your costumes!!!! You're going to look fabulous :thumbsup2

Goodbye Poly!

Helloooooooooooooooo Annual Pass!!!

I think this was an excellent usage of fuzzy Disney math!! :teacher:  And you're right, Poly will always be there. And honestly the parts I love the most are the parts you can visit without staying there! So I'm sure you'll still experience some Poly magic!

Love the costumes! You guys are gonna look so cute!!

I love that you changed resorts! I think unpacking and staying unpacked is brilliant especially when there is an annual pass in exchange! Since there's a meal at Kona and TiW card in the mix, you'll be getting the best of everything.

I love the costumes! So cool that Marc has a bowling shirt to go with it! I can't wait for photos of the costumes from the party.

That is a great memory, I'm sure your parents weren't loving excitment right before bed but it sounds like lots of fun!

No, they definitely were not. :lmao: It's still a bit of a family joke. I love that now I get to be the Aunt getting the kids all hyper. Of course, I'm old enough to know better, but still it's my duty as the fun Aunt to let mom and dad worry about that stuff.

I know, I know! When I was discussing the change with Marc he looked at me and said, "You realize they are all going to be laughing at you online, right?" Uh huh. I know. :rotfl2:

Goodbye Poly!

I liked my Fuzzy Disney Math skills for sure. I'm already contemplating how many trips I can really squeeze in. :lmao: Marc is going to regret this whole AP thing. :rotfl2:

What a great idea to do the AP! Lve the costumes. What was the etsy seller again?
I will PM you the Etsy seller. :thumbsup2

I have high hopes for loving Riverside so I think I will be happy there for the entire trip. I think we are going to make quite the pair in our costumes.

I'm sure that is a lot of fun. I look forward to when my brother has kids so I can spoil them rotten and get them all wound up to go home to mommy and daddy. :rotfl2:

:yay: for the AP!! I think it is also offset by not having to pack/move/unpack. I am not one for that.....I like to unpack once and put my suitcase far, far, away ;)
LOVE the costumes!!! I think you should wear the scarf in both your hair and on your neck....you can change it up throughout the night :) Whatever way you are feeling..just go with it! :thumbsup2 Which reminds me I still haven't purchased my tickets for MNSSHP!:rolleyes1
LOVE the tie dye too!!!! Supercute! :cutie:

The AP is so dangerous.

A very good dangerous. ::yes::

You are planning 2 trips now, hoping for a 3rd? I bet that 3rd will be a reality! Those APs burn holes in your pocket, I swear it! After you get an AP rate on the room (which ROCK!), cheap airfare and discounted food with that TiW, you'll squeeze in a trip. Been there, done that - and PLANNING to "squeeze" in our July 4 trip that Joe keeps shooting down. :rolleyes1 "We have APs, we have the points, airfare is only $X, we can eat Pop Tarts in the room!" Muahahaha!:cool2:

You got the AP rate on POR, right? I hope you get your Mickey Monitor too - I never got a copy last time I was an AP holder. :sad2:

I got so excited about the AP I forgot to mention how stinkin' adorable your costumes are!!! LOVE THEM! That bowling shirt for Marc is so awesome! Where did you find that and your poodle skirt again???

YAY for happy changes and buying an AP!! Being an AP holder is one decision I have never regretted! I can't wait every year to renew LOL!! I will probably renew every year for the rest of my life LOL!!

Love your costumes!! You guys are going to look so cute!!!!!

I highly recommend the Tables in Wonderland card. Ours has more than paid for itself. If you walk over to French Quarter at any point during your trip it works at their food court because they don't have a table service. What is better than beignets in Disney World? Beignats in Disney World with a 20% discount!!!!

16 Days? Wow! That means on Wednesday, it will only be 14 days!!! Hurray! Hurray!

I would have gladly traded the Poly for an AP, too! Although, I had to laugh a little at your resort change -- reminds me of myself. ;)

I love, love, love your costumes! Your skirt is too cute, and Marc's shirt is fabulous! I can't wait to see you all dressed up for the party!

16 days!! Woot Woot!

Yesterday I made changes to our trip....again. 17 days out. Can you believe that? I can't.

....the Poly isn't going anywhere...

I'm laughing at all the changes that are still going on!

An AP is a fantastic decision... its so worth giving up 2 days of the Poly for a longer trip in January ;) and a possible August trip!!

The costumes are gonna be great!

Kathy

Wow! I think it's a great change!! As great as staying at the Poly would be, you can stay in one spot and enjoy some AP discounts! I guess there must be a break even point in days of visiting parks where the AP makes more sense than buying tickets? I was just looking at that the other day with the DVC discount. Trying to figure out how many days I would need to go to make it worth it. The DVC discount is pretty good on them too.
Of course, at this point, I have no trip planned!! :( Isn't that awful??

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!! your costumes! Super cute! I am trying to come up with costumes for the annual neighborhood adults only party. Some people are SO creative!! I'd love to do something Disney themed of course.
