I realized I said we'd be at DHS on the 8th, but we won't. It's a "no parks" day + AK EMH. The 9th is also a whatever day because we leave that day, probably some MK mixed in there somewhere.

I don't think I have your cell...and mine might be changing next month....my current one doesn't have texting. Yes, I live under a rock....BUT! Joe's does. So, if anything I can send you his info and we'll find something that works as our date gets closer...or even during those couple of days we can meet up since we are both winging it!

No planning?! I threw planning out the window several trips back!! I know where I am eating and a general idea of where I want to be. I have found that to be much more of a relaxing time and I know I will always be back....If I have someone with me that hasn't been in awhile or it's their first time I try to accommodate them (as much as I allow )

Hope that LC ADR becomes available again

I would love to fly but I love having my own car and not dependinbg on the busses. I may have a bit of a control issue.

I really want to drive the next time Marc & I go to Disney. I just want to test it out again...I'm sure I'd regret it but I want to know that we can do it when we have kids and it's way too expensive to fly.

A DISer have a control issue? No way! I don't believe it!! It is very nice having a car down there. I like the buses though, I like not having to drive while on vacation.

The discounted rates were only good for flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. $69 each way! That is remarkable. I've never gotten that cheap of a flight from Southwest. That's down from $129. I was able to buy our return flights with the credit I had from our arrival flights and only have to put in an extra $40. I still need to pay for early bird check in which will be another $20.

We got our flights for $69 each way on Southwest too! So amazing that our family of 3 is flying for less than $500 roundtrip. Plus, they're direct flights and you just can't beat that.

45 Days!

I'm so excited but let me just admit I am so DONE waiting for this vacation. I'm ready to be there already! I think I have a case of I'msickofplanningIdon'twanttomakeanymoredecisions-itis. It's a very serious disease that afflicts 1 out of 10 DISers.

I'm changing up our countdown because a side effect of I'msickofplanningIdon'twanttomakeanymoredecisions-itis is that you lose all list making abilities. I'm done with lists...for this trip at least.

So the new and improved, I'm not planning anymore countdown is a collaboration between Marc & I that was born during our car ride to visit my parents yesterday.

We have come up with 45 wonderful favorites/moments/food...you name it's on this countdown. I'm quite proud of ourselves. We had a lot of fun making this list for you all to enjoy as well as reliving some of favorite moments of our '08 trip.

I can't even decide where to begin with this countdown since it's not in a specific order so I've decided to use the first one we came up with yesterday.

Now that the countdown is out of the way, we can discuss plans or lack of plans. It's true, I'm done planning. I'm so OVER it. We have 5 ADRs made, 3 of which we are absolutely going to delight in, the other 2 are super iffy. I have no idea what we are going to do each day. I don't know if we will end up buying park hoppers or if we'll skip them and decide to go to MNSSHP instead. This vacation is about relaxation. I'm going to have very little planned and if things that are planned don't work out, then I won't be upset. Marc & I need to relax and just enjoy our vacation together. We've both been so busy lately that when we do have time to spend with each other we end up zoning out in front of the TV.

We talked about this trip a lot this weekend, we made some decisions together which doesn't always happen since I do a lot of the Disney decision making. I found out some things that Marc really wants to do that I would have skipped over. So we shall see what happens. I also won't be tweeting or posting facebook updates. I've done that the last 2 trips and while I love doing it, it takes a lot of time away from being "in the moment." I want to soak up every single little second of this trip. Plus, if you don't know what happens I can torture you with cliff hangers in the TR and that just puts a little spring in my step.

So thank you for reading my 1,001 itineraries for this trip, the 50 million date changes, the 720 ADR musings and all the other drama. Your prize for enduring all that is a wonderful daily 45 day countdown that will bring Disney warm fuzzies right to your computer screen.

I almost forgot! While I was proof reading my post I remembered that we came up with THREE contests, Wigd and Shocker of course providing the inspiration. Which will be revealed later on, closer to our trip. They will even have prizes!!

Hurray for 45 days!!! This update made me laugh so hard! Between the I'msickofplanningIdon'twanttomakeanymoredecisions-itis and the threat of cliff-hangers that put a spring in your step, I had a good giggle this morning.

Love the Favorites Lists -- one day I would love to see Fantasmic -- I had played with the idea for seeing it on this trip, but the line for the second show stretched all the way to the end of Sunset Boulevard. No way would we be standing in that line!

Oh, and I have to tell you -- I about 130 pages into Look Again (started it yesterday), and my SIL finished it yesterday -- she said she could not put it down.
